Grand Canyon West Rim Tour Highlights
Depart from Las Vegas in a customized luxury Tour Trekker SUV with pick up from most Las Vegas hotels. Cross over the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge and continue your journey through a 900-year-old Joshua Tree forest as you make your way to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim.
Your West Rim Experience
Begin your day by traveling in comfort through the Mojave Desert en route to the Grand Canyon. Your guide knows all about the desert’s unique ecosystem and will point out noteworthy wildlife and plants along the way. Keep your eyes peeled for Joshua Trees, which only grow in this part of the world.
Immerse yourself in Hualapai culture at Eagle Point, your first stop on the Grand Canyon’s West Rim. See traditional dwellings and maybe even experience unique dances and storytelling performed by community members. The Grand Canyon Skywalk is also located at Eagle Point, and can be added to your tour for an additional cost (see below). At Guano Point, a pyramid point made of rock, be sure to ask your guide about the bizarre mining history of the cave below the overlook. Remnants of the old miner’s cable tramway are still visible at the site today, alon gwith 360-degree views of the Colorado River.
Before leaving the West Rim, you’ll stop at a trading post that features gifts, handcrafted souvenirs and sundries. Then, it’s on to the day’s second destination: The Hoover Dam. At the Hoover Dam, you’ll walk over the 900-feet-tall Michael O’Callaghan—Pat Tillman Bridge and get a bird’s view of the Dam.

Skywalk Add-on Available
The Skywalk is an open-air glass walkway that extends 70 feet from the edge of Eagle Point, offering views 4,000 feet down to the Canyon floor. The Grand Canyon Skywalk can be added to your tour for an additional charge.
