          We had a great trip with Canyon Tours last week. Our pilot was funny and put us at ease. He pointed out all the sights and filled us in on what we were seeing. We paid a little extra to get the front seats and I’m so glad we did. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience!

          My girlfriend and I took a helicopter tour to see the Grand Canyon while in Vegas. The views were incredible, and the pilot was very informative, though the cabin got unbearably hot because the air vents weren’t working. Despite that, the company handled the issue well, compensated us. Definitely worth it for the sights and the story.

          Why Take a Rafting Tour?

          Whitewater rafting tours are the ultimate Grand Canyon adventure! Get your heart pumping as you cover 40 miles of the Colorado River and traverse class 3 and 4 rapids, including Dragon Tooth Rapids, before stopping at Travertine Canyon to explore the nearby Travertine Waterfalls.

          Adventurers can drive themselves to the departure point to save about $200, travel to the West Rim by luxury van, or shorten the journey by flying in a helicopter. Grand Canyon rafting tours also include optional helicopter flights back to the Rim from the Canyon floor after your adventure concludes.

          Grand Canyon whitewater rafting tours are ideal for thrill seekers and travellers who want to raft through the Grand Canyon but only have a single day, don't want to spend thousands on a multi-day tour, or take a chance on the National Park Service's lottery.

          One-day Grand Canyon whitewater rafting tours operate seasonally from March 15-October 31. All single-day rafting tours depart from Peach Springs, AZ, on the Grand Canyon's West Rim. Participants must be at least 8 years of age to ride.
